Comic Relief – Bake Sale Competition
1. The Terms and Conditions below must be read carefully. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entering the competition.
2. The competition is open to all UK residents except staff members of Comic Relief and their close relatives, or anyone connected with the competition. All entrants under the age of 18 must have the permission of their parent or guardian to enter and all entries must be submitted by the entrants' parent or guardian.
3. The competition is to share pictures of your Red Nose Day 2026 bake sale to be in with the chance to win a recipe book by patisserie chef, Jane Dunn. To enter this competition, upload a picture of your bake sale with the hashtag #RedNoseBakes and tag @ComicRelief on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
4. You may only enter the competition once during the Entry Period. If more than one entry per person is received during the Entry Period, only the first entry will be valid, and later entries will be disqualified. The competition will open at midnight on 3 February 2026 (GMT) and close at 11:59pm on 31 March 2026 (GMT) (Entry Period). Entries received after the Entry Period will not be entered into the competition.
5. There will only be five (5) winners. The winners will receive a copy of Jane Dunn's Patisserie Classic recipe book.
6. Content Restrictions:
Entries must not contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights infringement;
Entries must not disparage Comic Relief or any other person or party affiliated with the competition;
Entries must show only the entrant's bake sale. Entries must not show any identifiable feature of any person, or any product, trademark, or copyrighted property of any other person or business entity.
Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
Entries must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
Entries must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any country, state or province where the Submission is created.
7. The winner will be selected by a panel of representatives from Comic Relief and also an independent judge (the Judging Panel). The Judging Panel is looking for factors such as creativity, originality and hilarity. The Judging Panel will select the winners at their sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The winner will be notified by 30 June 2026 by email. If a winner does not respond within ten (10) working days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Comic Relief may award the prize to the best runner up as agreed by the Judging Panel. Comic Relief is not responsible for any email not being received or being delivered into a spam folder.
9. Comic Relief reserves the right to use the name of the winner and submission content for promotional and publicity purposes.
10. If a winner wishes to give the prize to another person as a gift, express prior consent must be obtained from Comic Relief. A winner is prohibited from offering the prize for onward sale or exchange or to make any income or profit from the prize.
11. Comic Relief reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so, including for any reasons outside of its control. Comic Relief reserves the right to disqualify entry or cancel the provision of the prize should a participant breach these Terms and Conditions or behave in an unlawful, fraudulent, inappropriate or offensive manner.
12. The prizes are as stated. Comic Relief may substitute an alternative prize of similar value. No cash alternative will be offered.
13. The prize is subject to change. Descriptions of the prize are provided without a warranty of any kind. In no event shall Comic Relief or any prize provider be liable for any claim demand or damages caused to an entrant by reason of a description of the prize being inaccurate, incomplete, or for the prize being otherwise in any way different to the entrant's expectations. To the extent permitted by law, Comic Relief excludes all warranties and representations (whether express or implied) and will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate a participant or the winner or accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring as a result of entering the competition or taking up a prize (other than for death or personal injury caused by Comic Relief's negligence), including all indirect or consequential losses.
14. Comic Relief and their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any website, delivery service, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any entry not being properly received.
15. This prize draw is operated by Comic Relief.
16. Your information (email address, your name and surname and the name of social media page) will be collected by Comic Relief and will only be used to communicate with you regarding the competition. If you are selected as the winner, Comic Relief will contact you to let you know you have won and to administer the prize. 17. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
