Comic Relief – Design-Yer-Nose Competition
1. The Terms and Conditions below must be read carefully. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entering the competition.
2. The competition is open to all UK residents between the ages of 4 and 16 except staff members of Comic Relief or Amazon, their close relatives, or anyone connected with the competition (Creators). All entries must be submitted by the entrant's parent, teacher or guardian over the age of 18.
3. To enter the competition, individuals are required to design their own Comic Relief Design-yer Nose and upload a photo of their Red Nose designs on Comic Relief's webpage (can be found comicrelief.com/nose-competition) (Creation). Designs for entry can be made directly on a 2026 Red Nose or on the template provided on the webpage.
4. Entries should be of the Nose design only. Entries must not show any identifiable feature of any person. Any upload containing identifiable information – including faces or other personal features – may not be considered a valid entry.
5. To submit an entry, the Creator's parent, teacher or guardian (You) must complete the competition submission form, stating Your name, email address, only the first name of the Creator (Your child/dependant/student) the name of Your child/dependant/student's school and the school address, their age category and upload a photo of your designed nose at comicrelief.com/nose-competition. You must also acknowledge that such entry is subject to the terms of our privacy notice and terms of use. If the Creator that You entered on behalf of is identified as the winner, written confirmation of permission and proof of parental/guardianship responsibility may be required from You before the winner can be declared.
6. The competition will open at 00:01 on 03 February 2026 (GMT) and close at 23:59 on 27 March 2026 (GMT) (Entry Period). Entries received after the Entry Period will not be entered into the competition.
7. You may only enter the competition once on the Creator's behalf during the Entry Period. If more than one entry per Creator is received during the Entry Period, only the first entry will be valid, and later entries will be disqualified.
8. There will be one winner in each of the following age categories:
- Aged 4-7
- Aged 8-10
- Aged 11-13
- Aged 14-16.
9. The winning Creator from each age category that has registered with their school will receive an Amazon voucher for their school worth £100. The winning Creator from each category will also win an individual prize of a Red Nose Day goody bag (which will include 2026 Red Noses, Mr Doodle x RND merchandise and colouring pens)
10. For the avoidance of doubt, unless specified above or otherwise agreed in writing, no other costs or expenses will be covered by Comic Relief.
11. Content Restrictions:
Entries must not contain material that violates or infringes another's rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights infringement.
Entries must not disparage Comic Relief, Amazon or any other person or party affiliated with the competition.
Entries must not show any identifiable feature of any person, or any product, trademark, or copyrighted property of any other person or business entity.
Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous.
Entries must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Entries must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any country, state or province where the Creation is created.
12. In the event that an entry violates any of the above Content Restrictions in paragraph 11, Comic Relief and/or Amazon may (at their sole discretion) crop or edit such entry to render it compliant and/or exclude such entry from the competition.
13. The winners will be selected by the artist, Mr Doodle (the Judge). The Judge is looking for the most creative entry as assessed based on 1) the design is eye catching 2) the design is creative and 3) the design means something special to you. Representatives from Comic Relief and Amazon will select a shortlist of entries. If Your entry is selected in the shortlist, we may contact You to ask You for more information about the Creation. You will be contacted by email to the email address provided at the point of submission of that entry. If You do not respond within ten (10) working days, Your entry may not be considered by the Judge as part of the final selection. Following the selection of the shortlist, the Judge will select a winner from the shortlisted entries at their sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants regarding this decision.
14. The winners will be notified by 01 May 2026 by email to the email address provided at the point of submission of that entry. If a winner does not respond within ten (10) working days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Comic Relief may award the prize to the best runner up as agreed by the Judging Panel at their sole discretion.
15. Comic Relief reserves the right to use the first name of the winners, their age category and any and all submission content (including answers provided in the competition submission form) for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
16. You hereby agree that all intellectual property and moral rights of the child on whose behalf You are entering have been assigned or licensed to You and/or waived and grant Comic Relief and Amazon a non-revocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify and reproduce all such intellectual property rights vesting in the Creation and Your entry for the aforementioned purposes.
17. Comic Relief reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so, including for any reasons outside of its control. Comic Relief reserves the right to disqualify an entry or entrant or cancel the provision of the prize should a participant breach these Terms and Conditions or behave in an unlawful, fraudulent, inappropriate or offensive manner.
18. Prizes will be as stated. There is no cash alternative and the prizes cannot be sold or transferred for value in any circumstances. If a winner wishes to give the prize to another person as a gift, express prior consent must be obtained from Comic Relief.
19. The prize is subject to change. Descriptions and depictions of the prize are provided without a warranty of any kind. In no event shall Comic Relief, Amazon or any prize provider be liable for any claim demand or damages caused to an entrant (or any recipient or user of the prize) by reason of a description of the prize being inaccurate, incomplete, or for the prize being otherwise in any way different to the entrant's expectations. To the extent permitted by law, Comic Relief excludes all warranties and representations (whether express or implied) and will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate a participant or the winners (or any recipient or user of the prize) or accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring as a result of entering the competition or taking up a prize (other than for death or personal injury caused by Comic Relief's negligence), including all indirect or consequential losses.
20. Failure to claim the prize by the time or in the manner specified by Comic Relief will make any claim invalid.
21. Comic Relief reserves the right to use the first name and age category of the winners and their winning designs for promotional and publicity purposes.
22. Comic Relief may amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and will make such changes by amending them on the Comic Relief website.
23. Comic Relief, Amazon and their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any website, delivery service, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any entry not being properly received.
24. This competition is operated by Comic Relief and Amazon. The prize for the winning Creator in each age category is provided by Comic Relief and the prize for that winning Creator's school is provided by Amazon.
25. Comic Relief must publish that a valid award took place. To comply with this requirement, Comic Relief will publish the first name and county of the winner and, if applicable, their winning entry on comicrelief.com by 01 May 2026. If You object to any or all of Your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Comic Relief by emailing us.
26. For the avoidance of doubt, Comic Relief must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on their request.
27. Our lawful basis for processing Your personal data is that it is in our legitimate interests (and we don't believe this unreasonably impacts on Your rights or freedoms). 28. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
29.
